Yippee, super up there, Igor. To Kredarica no problem for me, but to the top in winter I don't dare, better wait for your report and nice pics.
Congratulations!

If anyone has walked from Krma,, it would be nice if they described the conditions,, whether it really sinks in (without skis/snowshoes is what interests me).

thanks

regards

On the webcam you can see it's quite trampled.

I'm interested too: "If anyone has hiked from Krma,, it would be nice if they describe the conditions ,,whether it really sinks in (without skis/snowshoes, that's what interests me)."

We're setting off next week on Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks

Hey gregag read this a bit, got fresh data up there http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=651 By next week someone will surely write something, keep checking under Kredarca too.

From Trenta - Zadnjica, over Komar to Dolič was quite strenuous, of course no one walked ahead of me, further to summit you could whistle, hand in pocket no way. Sunshine, snow, views, one came from Kredarica direction, conditions apparently excellent but won't last long. Descended the ascent route.
this Komar is getting steeper and steeper1
a snapshot a bit off the path2
there on the saddle is Dolič3
and now it's within reach4
look, there it is, Triglav5
just one good snowfall and it will be covered6
when it got dark I was already back in the valley7

Redbull: Checked your pics and gotta say you're like a wild chamois, but not criticism nothing bad, I like those, can arrange sometime, but Triglav a bit meh for me like a walk except under Mali Triglav need to be careful. Last year 3x winter. Not in group anymore here no active topic either.

Hi. Has anyone been to Triglav in the last few days? I'm curious about the conditions.

On Sunday I'm going up, the tower has only the cap outside, conditions are winter anyway.

Warning. Road to Krma extremely icy so most cars can't reach even Kovinarska koča (biggest problem last slope before hut). Who manages that slope gets to parking.

Whoever goes up it'll be fine. No unpleasant reverse driving encounters.

Thaw in Krma melted a lot of ice on the road, so only the last slope before the pasture is fully icy. I walked with skis the whole time, others on foot. Conditions for walking are excellent. Despite strong wind, Miloš and I headed towards the summit. Conditions except wind are unique. Towards the valley, we skied with Irena, others on foot. Lp

Bravo Franci and Milošnasmeh. I spent the whole yesterday studying whether you went up or not. Because of wind gusts. Excellent photos otherwise..Super. Good luck further.
