How much time would it take from Krma to Kredarica, if I needed 3 hours over Prag? I'm interested approximately.

Also about 3 to 3.5 hours.

It depends on the individual, but I think the path over Prag and over Tominška is the fastest

I'm wondering what the weather forecast is for Friday and Saturday on Triglav? Is it safe to go up or not?

Check ARSO for the weather... You can also call the weather forecasters at Kredarica... I suggest you don't follow the weather long-term, the weekend is still far...

I went with my darling on Sunday from Krma valley to Planika hut and it took us cca 6 hours. True, we had at least 1 hour of stops along the way. This path is extremely scenic and panoramic.

I was at the summit about a week ago (see post on p.175).... here some more video impressions of the path for those still heading to the top. VIDEO-Triglav IV.

Can someone please tell me if there's still any snow on the Planika - Triglavska škrbina path?

As I saw from the top today, you need to cross it in the initial part maybe 10 m, no problem.

On Monday it wasn't to be seen that anyone walked there at that time. In short there was quite a lot of snow and that in the upper steep part. I don't believe that the snow melted so fast that only 10 meters remained. Call the warden Irena at Planika and she'll tell you firsthand what the situation is.

There is way more than 10 m of snow. Practically no one uses this access - descent.

The Planika - Bovška škrbina path is in the peak visiting time of the Father the most suitable, without crowds, for me also the nicest. Higher up there is at least some free climbing without protections. There is surely still some snow in the Triglav cirque, but in the sun-exposed areas it shouldn't cause problems. When it becomes firmer with the front, that's a different matter. Then at least an ice axe is recommended.

On Monday morning when I was up there, two mountaineers went down via the notch. The lower snowfield is probably well passable and you can also see a nicely trodden path across it. Higher up I didn't see the conditions, so I can't say much...

There is still a veeeeery large amount of windblown and compacted snow there and I think without winter gear it wouldn't go ; also nothing is trodden, which means they haven't used this access or descent from Triglav yet.

I called the hut warden, who told me there's still plenty of it in the lower part and one needs to be careful; in the upper climbing part there's no more.
