In August or September I'd go to Triglav. I have average fitness. I go to mountains occasionally because no interested people at home, more cycling. Looking for a companion male or female who is reliable and advises well, knows mountains, weather better... Would go for two days, preferably weekdays, or Friday afternoon to Planika hut, next day to the top and return. Would anyone go with me.

You can still offer yourselves if you have experience and it wouldn't be too hard to take me along because you'd probably have to adjust the pace a bit for me.

Hello! Planning a trip to Triglav, going up from Rudno polje, return via Triglav lakes towards Savica. Wondering what's the path from Triglav summit down to Dolič? Thanks!

We've decided to go to Triglav on Thursday, but weather worries me a bit. Can some experienced mountaineer advise what to do, whether to go or not. Temperatures very low too, so need warm clothes.

warm clothes must always be in the backpack..if it's windy at the top it can get very cold quickly..for the weather you can also ask at Kredarica, there are meteorologists up there..

planinka22...I think that when you go to the mountains you always need to have warm clothes. e.g. At Kredarica in the evening, in the morning regardless of the month there's always a bit of wind and you need fleece and windstopper. Otherwise I've been to Triglav several times in Sept., when similar temperatures were forecast.... in the sun and while hiking we were still in short sleeves. To the summit we then went in a windbreaker and long&short t-shirt underneath. Nothing drastic... still great. My advice is ..as many layers as possible...and some hat for early morning hours and mandatory gloves after the chimneys of course. Good luck and many wonderful views.

planinka22. we're going up tomorrow, ordered windstoppers (windproofs), hats and gloves for all. On the summit you never know what awaits you.

JanezKastevc From which starting point are you going and when do you start. We're still deciding, we'd preferably go to the top of Triglav already on the first day and then sleep at Planika. We'd start at 5 in the morning from Krma to Planika and to the top the same day

Good day I would need some advice. At the beginning of September I'm heading to Triglav. I've decided to go from Zadnjica to Dolič and then further. I'm interested in the following what do you advise should I go to Dolič around via mulatiera where I've already been or better go over Komar? Can someone tell me what this path is like is it very demanding? What are the protections like? Is it exposed? Thanks in advance for every answer

It's best to take swimsuits and a towel and also mittens, I mean what nonsense you're writing up here.
