Hi, could I join one of you to Triglav? I'm quite a sporty guy but haven't been to Triglav yet. Would go now while there's still some snow.

Has anyone been to Triglav in recent days and knows the conditions on the path from Krma over Kredarica?

Zadnjica - through Korita to Luknja - via Bambergova to Plemenice and to the Morbegno barracks at Z.T.P. Over Bovška škrbina to the summit. Descent to Mali Triglav and towards Planika, then over Rjavčeva škrbina and behind Šmarjetna glava to Dolič and back to the valley. Where there's no snow, it's dry, where there's snow winter gear is needed and it will be needed for higher mountains long into summer.

Hello, I'm interested in conditions at Planika and Mali Triglav and which path to Triglav is the least demanding.

The least demanding is from Krma past Planika to Mali Triglav and along the ridge to the Triglav summit, or also from Rudno polje, but it's very long because you need to go around Tosca where less elevation difference is made.

So what does viharnik say about Igor's conditions? Are crampons still needed somewhere or is help from higher powers enough

"viharnik" many of us like to read your posts and descriptions related to your mountain tours and conditions in the mountains. However, there are probably many who take your religiously colored posts with reservation. Maybe it would be better if on this forum you describe what's connected to mountains; religiously charged posts would fit better on some more religious forum, where many more people would gladly read them. I think there are many more on this forum who enjoy mountains or go there for some other reason and not to meet God there. This is just my personal opinion, not meant badly, as everyone has the right to their own belief; maybe this forum just isn't the most suitable for explaining these matters.

Dejan, didn't Igor already mention that where there's no snow, it's dry.

Does anyone have a photo of the North Triglav wall, actually left of it for the area of paths Čez Prag and Tominškova path? At what height does snow start?
