Not quite true, last photo is directly into Vrata. Satisfied?

Edit: this was reply to 5Xum who meanwhile deleted the comment.

For this year's conditions an unusually nice day lured us yesterday into the mountain world too. With both sons we walked quite a long path. Start from Pokljuka, past Vodnikov dom and via Planika over Mali Triglav to the summit. We descended via Kredarica.
Conditions for walking excellent, though to Vodnikov dom in the dark and fog. Higher sunny, warm, rock dry everywhere and to the top also completely dry.
It's a pity the huts in the high mountains are closing already, as the weather has only now shown its true nice face.
A little above Vodnikov dom we emerge from the fog1
At Konjsko sedlo a magnificent view towards the east awaits us2

Also towards the south everything is in fog5
Our youngest during the ascent to Mali Triglav6
Even at Kredarica they are doing well7
Currently quite an easy path towards the summit of Triglav8
Snow awaits us only at the summit9
Such beautiful views are rare10
Even above the Vrata valley quite hazy11
In the distance Krn greets us12
If every summer left so much snow, the glacier would grow quickly13

On Friday 26.9 we were at the top via Plemenice, descended towards Kredarica where we slept, next day to Staniča and behind Cmir back to Vrata. Despite fog and strong wind on top perfect tour nasmeh

The path itself didn't lead me to Triglav this time but around it. Start in Vratih and through Plemenice to Morbegne. In between a stop at the top of Sfinge, which offers dizzying views into the valley. From Morbegne a short hop to the top of Glave in Zaplanji. Continued on a shortcut to Planika below the walls of Rjavca. Path to it via nasty scree, after exiting scree no major issues. Descended back via same scree and continued to Planika. The path gets lost here and there but can be followed to junction with marked Dolič-Planika path. From Planika continued to Kredarica and en route visited top of Snežne konte. From Kredarica path led across Rž to Staničeva Koča, with a stop at top of Rži offering great views of Triglav. To Vrata valley via screes in valley behind Cmir. Beautiful weekend and shame huts are closing as Indian summer seems on the way.

Yesterday three friends and I climbed Triglav from Pokljuka past Vodnikov dom and Planika to the summit, descended via Kredarica. Weather/conditions already described by predecessors, in one word - phenomenal. More in photos.

I used the beautiful Sunday to visit Škrlatica and Triglav in a few hours. In between, of course, some other peaks too.

Yesterday at top of SFRJ.mežikanje Circular tour over Triglav: Vrata-Luknja-Plemenice-summit-Mali Triglav-Kredarica-Prag-Vrata. Beautiful weather, views, few people. At summit even accordion, song, cviček, ravens and some wind - unforgettable. Path over Plemenice is really nice and fitness demanding, adrenaline not lacking. Some snow patches on the way, caution advised - larger above Sfinga and then some smaller in lower part of climbing path to summit. Small crampons or ice axe not amiss, otherwise OK with poles and good boots. Rest dry and rocky. Path over Prag has one snow patch on Triglavski podi - slippery, otherwise full of rocks and scree. Tominškova path dry and good per other hikers.

On Sunday via Tominškova to Staničeva koča, then to Cmir and back over Prag. It was phenomenal. Worth living for such days. Shame only that on such nice autumn weekends Staničeva koča isn't open.
(If anyone found on Sunday on path over Prag black Julbo sunglasses, please contact me).

I read on the forum what I found about descent via valley behind Cmir, but it's still not quite clear to me. I'd ask if someone who's done this descent can describe exactly how and what. I'd really like to try descending this path, but on Sunday I wasn't fully sure how and where. Thanks in advance!

From Staničeva go on path to Cmir, but below saddle descend to valley behind Cmir. From saddle path is visible, but not marked and follow cairns. This is easiest descent to Vrata, large part over scree.
Good luck
