To Triglav?

In mid-July we're heading to Triglav and something interests me. Start from Savica past Triglav Lakes but instead of overnighting at Dolič we'd rather go to Planika and then to the summit. I'm interested in the path from Dolič to Planika as I haven't seen it in any guidebook. Thanks for opinions and info smile

This year I went, but in the opposite direction. Nice and scenic. Maybe a bit more than an hour of walking, not sure exactly. I think those few snow patches are gone too. But in summer lots of hikers on this path. Cheers

We're going to Triglav for the first time and they recommended this path as one of the nicest. We'll go midweek so I hope there won't be too much of a crowd. Well, we'll see if they're right smile

Never been at the summit by the tower in the evening, on Saturday my wish came true. So pleasant to sit and watch clouds covering the sky. Today too hot and not a single cloud, and not even too crowded at little Triglav. Now Bovška škrbina is completely snow-free. Descent to valley was hot today, sun burning all the way.

On Saturday I started from Pokljuka at 23.30, arrived at Triglav at 4.30. Night was fantastic for hiking, and moon nicely lit the path, on summit fantastic sunrise sight

Yesterday I decided for the path via Komar, because I haven't gone on it yet and was curious what it's like. And it's nice, some climbing, not too much, and lots of flowers. Only the last scree before entering the mulatiero is a bit annoying, especially because of the heat yesterday and today.
