Hi,
Anyone going Triglav next week holiday 25.6? zmeden

I'd go first time so need someone knows way. plan Bohinj-Triglavska jezera- Kredarica-Triglav back other side Mojstrana etc... Just PD member.

Hi.
For a couple of years I've been planning to go to Triglav at night and wait for sunrise at the summit, and this year I'll try to realize it. I'm wondering which path would be best for night hiking?

For night hiking, the path from Krma past Planika to the top seems most suitable to me.
The one from Pokljuka is similarly easy, but longer. mežikanje

Just don't arrive at the top too early, because it's very cold at night when you stop moving.

@shorty_99 .... Definitely choose the path from Krma. With a bit of caution you can't even trip properly big grin

. Choose a time without moon, i.e. new moon and complete darkness. Night hikes to Triglav from the valley you can't experience more authentically than this way. I'm attaching some pics for impression ...

On picture 3 the Orion constellation is clearly visible, according to many the most beautiful constellation in the sky!

On nice weather forecast I quickly slung backpack on shoulder and went from Pokljuka via Kredarica to summit. Suited me calm path with beautiful panoramic views while nature still nicely greens and blooms nasmeh

Whole trail snow-free on path, pleasantly quiet, only from Kredarica to top yesterday quite a few went up mostly foreigners.
Huts already opened doors, especially nice this year Vodnik hut wonderfully renovated downstairs with new terrace.

First summer day on Triglav bit different-dressed in white.
From Vrata via Tominšek where I overtake couple at Kredarica sunrise greets me wind and minus nine surround summit. Path from Kredarica to top with little snow and ice wire ropes nicely rimed. No wind shelter so hide in tower eat bit then to Triglav notch towards Luknja. Here watch chamois then back to valley.
Over notch still hard snowfield covered new snow. Ice axe my opinion mandatory.

already from afar the cracking of horns was heard

I disturbed him during morning rumination

The author of the AO Rašica report told me there's only a few hundred meters of snow in the Slovenian gully.

Yesterday via old Kugy route to Plemenice and over Bovška Škrbina to the summit. New snow in drifts up to knees in places, otherwise old snow still below and above Bovška Škrbina, ice axe recommended. Descended to Kredarica and slept at Planika. Today snow was frozen in the morning, otherwise during the day most new snow melted.
