On 19.7. a chain (nameplate) with name T. Dolinšek was lost on the path from Kredarica towards Pokljuka. If anyone luckily found it, please contact me at 040148298. Thanks!

Last week we went to Triglav "through" a rainbow, as luck smiled on us at Begunjski vrh with a very intense glory that lasted about 20 minutes. Start in Vrata via Tominškova path, overnight at Staniča, in between to Begunjski vrh and Visoka Vrbanova špica, then past Kredarica to the relatively crowded Triglav summit. Back to Vrata via Prag path. More photos and detailed report at the link: From Vrata to Triglav through rainbow

Hello, anyone going Wednesday early morning to Triglav from Krma or Vrata side, to join him in the car, of course would pay for transport. For return would go by bus from Bohinj. If anyone has an empty seat I recommend myself. Reachable at no. 041 610 839. Best, Matic

On the first day we started in the morning at six and finished at 18.30. On the second day then from seven to 18.00. It was moderate walking with lots of breaks.

Bos, on picture 34 next to Razor is Planja, Prisank is hiding 2.5km far behind it. And good luck in the hills further!

Bos, is the path from Planina Grintovica to Vodnikov dom marked or signposted? Thanks and happy steps!

Yes, it is marked. Worse though from Planina Blato to Grintavca. You really need to be careful when you come to fallen trees and step on the marked path Stara Fužina-Planina Krstenica. You just cross the mentioned path and descend straight to the right down and after 100m you come again to a good traceable path through the forest, which gently descends. After planina Grintavca then on the large unmown clearing you step on the distinct and marked trail from Voj toward Velem polju. Here forward there are no more orientation problems.

Nice greeting! In August we have a smaller group intending to go to Triglav. We have some experience, but any advice from you would surely be useful. We would start from the hut at Savica in Bohinj, through Komarco and the valley of the Triglav Lakes to Planika, where we would sleep. On the second day we would go to the top of Triglav. We have not determined the return path. We will rent climbing harnesses and helmets. So, what must we be especially careful and cautious about? It's probably good to reserve the overnight stay in advance? Thanks, lp!

For the first day you have chosen, in my opinion, a bit too long a stage. Of course, everything depends on fitness.

First day to Koča na Doliču will be quite enough. Reservations for accommodations are of course mandatory.

If you have fitness, I think there shouldn't be a problem. But it's important to start early, because if it's hot you'll sweat it out over Hribarce. We did the same tour 3 years ago and I remember we needed about 10 hours to Triglav summit with stops and without rushing. For return it's nice to Voje and then to Bohinj.

@gornik12 Three years ago I also went via Triglav Lakes but over Komna and slept at Dolič. Second day from Triglav to Pokljuka. Only problem then getting back to Bohinj (luckily first car stopped and took me). Path really long first day, so start as early as possible, should be at Dolič in ten hours if moderate pace. Or go as I did one year: start Stara Fužina to Vodnikov dom and on to Triglav, sleep at Planika or Dolič, next day via Hribarice to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih and left uphill to Vogar and back to start, also very nice tour, especially start with Mostnica gorges. At path start along stream, I went via Uskovnica bit longer. Next weekend 8th and 9th August going up again, don't know which path yet .

Vladika. Given that you went from the Bohinj end, this time you can go from Kot and via Rjavina, past Stanič to Očak, back via the valley between Rjavina and Vrbanovi or straight over Vrbanove špice.
