Quiet as mice without dislodging rocks, regarding footwear I don't know where it says you must wear lumberjack boots. Wear what you feel best and safest in. Don't worry, when snow falls knee boots will come into play, but for a few cm I won't put away the sneakers either

Regarding footwear, I agree with Dejan. High boots are no prerequisite for a safe step.

I'm interested if someone is going to Triglav on Saturday. My husband (59) really wants to go up but has no company and doesn't know the path. He is very calm and in good condition. We will be staying in Bohinj, so if someone takes him on a joint trip please let me know. thanks

On the 8th picture right above the tower Orion is already shining, otherwise winter constellation; the brightest shining body is Venus, a bit further left

You go by road to the lower station of the freight cableway and at the last bend turn right downhill - waterfall in front of you, pool below it, actually two - the lower one often warms up enough to jump in with pleasure and swim.
