Today classic from Krma to Triglav. Only at entrance to secured part some snow left, otherwise mostly dry path to the tower, winter gear stayed in backpack today.

We start in Krma just before 6am and at +7 degrees nasmeh

, which surprises me as forecast was for minus. Continue to Prgarca, short snack there and on over Konjski preval to Planika arriving after three hours. Here we take a longer break, then on to the summit, which we conquer in under 5 hours nasmeh

. At summit we take over an hour for rest mežikanje

and enjoy truly phenomenal views eek

all around as far as eye can see velik nasmeh

. Then descent to Kredarica for beer with weather guys, here we talk on phone with Suzi mežikanje

, who is also around here with car in Vrata and quickly idea comes to descend to Vrata past Stanič and behind Cmir to valley, where Suzi picks us up to Krma for car nasmeh

. It was really a beautiful day on our father cool

, who was quite visited today and half of them foreigners. Path mostly dry.

This morning at Kredarica wind over 100 km/h, so I decided to go to summit past Planika (hut of course closed) via Gorjanska path, which is sheltered. Larger snow areas started in the basin below Triglav notch, snow already slightly melting but not breaking through, due to small slope crampons not needed. Path, which is to my taste the most natural path to summit, was dry, snowfield below Notch no problem, can be bypassed.

At summit Babylon... Czechs, Italians, German speakers and even some Slovenes... By my estimate 50 to 100 people on summit whole day. And surprisingly no wind, even pleasantly warm. And divine views to Savudrija, Veliki Klek, Kamniški... Return along ridge, which as others said completely dry, except short snowed section on ridge and ice in entry steep by Kredarica nothing different from summer.

On shady sides quite some snow, very hard, so for tours in such areas winter gear highly recommended!

And one more: from ridge between two Triglavs constant cannonade of large and small stones, but luckily not falling in Gorjanska path area. Loud talking of some folks from same ridge heard to Planika.

Below Triglavska škrbina there are larger snow fields, but due to the gentle slope they pose no problems.

The snow on the exit slope below the notch can be bypassed.

View to the other side of Triglavska škrbina, towards Plemenice. The snow is hard; without crampons it can be tricky.

The summit is mostly snowy, but no issue.

The clear air allowed views as far as the edge of the earth's atmosphere.

As if Cmir, Begunjski vrh, both Vrbanovi špici, Rjavina and Rž were having a small gathering.

On the shady sides there is quite some hard snow.

The ridge between Mali and Veliki Triglav is only slightly snowier in one spot.

The traverse above the entry section of Mali Triglav is dry.

From Savica over seven lakes to Triglav. Path without features. In notch with care also without winter gear. Plemenice dry, if anyone interested. Weather fantastic, windless-nowhere except Maemi. From Kredarica to Konjsko sedlo, Velo Polje, Malo polje. Below Mišeljski preval to Krstenica where we drink well. Path takes us to Planina v Lazu, Planina pri jezeru, Pl. Viševnik, Črno jezero and back over Komarča to Savica.
Really nice tour, especially in this beautiful almost summer weather.

Krma - Triglav

To avoid the crowds, a somewhat worse forecast for Sunday was promising, but just the cloud games always have a special charm mežikanje

Only a few small non-problematic snow patches from Kredarica to summit still left, which will melt in coming days with positive temps.

Everyone by own judgment...for us it was nice, on summit and at hut...enjoy the sun in coming days ☼

Again nonsense
They've gone already without gear. Snow is in the notch (number4 from me above). By weekend that snow will probably be gone, if not sooner

Today from Krma to Triglav. As others have already written, the path is dry and without features. Weather was super, wonderful autumn day. On the top we were quite some time just 4 nasmeh

On the ridge from Mali Triglav onwards it's icy somewhere, so careful and go.

Has anyone maybe gone from Pokljuka to Kredarica, is the path dry?
Cockta: did you go with crampons and ice axe, is it suitable for medium experienced hikers (who have climbed Triglav etc so far only in summer) or only for trained? thanks for info.

All I met on the way back to Mali Triglav.. no one had crampons and ice axe. It's suitable also for those who climbed only in summer. Where it's icy.. slower but hold the fixed ropes and no panic. We went from Planika to Mali Triglav.. how it is towards Kredarica and further, I don't know. Judge yourself.. two Germans slept in tent at Planika.. we went together further, but both turned back because there was some snow in one crack.

Take advantage now of the dry conditions for ascent, from directions Krma, Pokljuka (Planika). Over the threshold, and Tominska dry from Vrata. Plemenice dry, except Bovška notch.

During a recent visit to Triglav, I noticed just below the summit a memorial plaque to a deceased Croatian mountaineer. I'm interested in the opinion of this forum's users on the appropriateness of such markers in the mountains?

Inappropriate, like candles and flowers by the road.

Hike in incredibly warm weather. Start in Trenta, through Zadnjica valley, then over Komar to Dolič and then to Triglav summit through Bovška škrbina. In the notch there's still some frozen snow, but no problems, tracks are wide.
From the summit back to the notch, then to Planika, Dolič and back to the valley via mulatjera

Sunday 15.10 nasmeh

, excellent weather conditions (completely clear, no wind, warm, ...). Ascent via Planika - Mali Triglav - Triglav, just some snow patches you easily avoid. Descent via Mali Triglav to Kredarica without special issues, lower part needs more caution crossing snow patch on climbing section.

15 October was really a beautiful day. Sky without clouds. Warm all day. Even on descent to valley.

In Triglavska škrbina there is still some snow.

This ptarmigan ate from my hand. It liked the apple slices.

some had a baptism. On such a nice day it's worth waiting

greeting to the girls. Three years ago we met on Grintovec

larches on the mulatjera are turning yellow.

On Sunday we headed via Plemenice to Triglav, no specialties there.....path dry, except some patches on Škrbina.
Slept with friendly people at Kredarica and in the morning continued to Rjavina. Under Rž snow frozen, as despite hot sun no ray reaches there at this time. Same under Begunjski vrh on path to Cmiri to valley... Without crampons not recommended. Still some flower on path... nasmeh

no crowds, weather fabulous, views for gods, we lived the dream nasmeh
