Snowshoes highly recommended, biggest sinking from Prgarica to start of calvary. At traverse I cleared cable as much as possible. After bend as expected lots of snow and of course most annoying part of whole ascent. Experts know what I mean. Ridge well passable. Monday forecast around 40 cm snow with strong wind, no big changes for ascent expected. Track is there, now happily to work

Hello.
Does anyone have any fresh info on conditions from Kredarica to the summit? Have the conditions changed in the last week (given that some new snow has fallen)? The track for hikers from Krma to Kredarica is probably already "packed"?

We waded to Kredarica (thanks to yesterday's visitor), so now the track is quite firm. Here and there it still sinks in places, from the calvary onwards the snow is pretty hard.
The track to Triglav has also extended, conditions objectively speaking a golden mean - far from ideal but not bad at all. The traverse is always a bit tricky anyway, below the summit one part is risky due to unconsolidated snow.
Weather excellent, views even better due to wind from previous days (the sea sparkling orange, visible in photos too). Kredarica quite crowded today.

Bambergova (18.11.17)
No one has gone to Luknja in the last week, maybe two. Sinking in was very annoying. Above the saddle or on Bambergova, huge snow like in February. In recent years I don't know when Plemenice were so snowy in November. Sometimes post-holing, sometimes hard. Above the initial via ferrata snow covered the brush, so very difficult there. Bovška škrbina heavily snow-covered. Weather phenomenal. From Kredarica direction well trodden, snow holds well, no thaw yet.
