Plemenice-Planika-Kredarica (27.08.18)

Around 2000m the white base began, but in this August sugar no need for any winter gear. Before Bovška škrbina, where ice tongue often forms it was icy too, but with stronger step I broke it all. At nine o'clock I was alone on the summit. Ridge was very slippery/icy. Descended to Planika for sneakers that colleague's friend forgot a week ago. Before going to Kredarica I detoured to Ivačičeva jama. These days it'll be lively around our highest peak, as Radio 1 is up there. Ledges quite snowy, but soon path was bare. Such conditions from today maybe no more in September. Path from Kredarica already bare.

Super nice photos redbull, but I'm not exactly a fan of walking in snow, so hope by tomorrow it clears at least most snow on path over Plemenice, back via Tominškova to Vrata.

Today up over Škrbina. Descent to Planika. Snow still lingers in places, a bit of caution and it's ok.
After cooling, super conditions.

In super company on two-day hike to Triglav. First day from Rudno polje to Dolič and in between also to Ablanco. Second day to summit and then descent to Planika and back to start. Tasted new August snow. Rocks wet and slippery in places, so caution needed. At summit crowd.... nasmeh

The days of the tin tower on the Triglav summit are numbered; in the next few days, they say, the summit will be without it.
