Why would you drive to Planina Konjščica?? But someone nicely wrote how far you can "farthest" drive or park - from the end of the asphalt road at Rudno polje and then on the gravel to the end, park there if you're lucky.

Our eager ten-year-old wanted to see what the summit looks like without the Aljaž Tower. His father, in line with the proverb of our southern neighbors "Hard to drive a frog into water", didn't hesitate long. On Wednesday, 26.9., we were at the top. We slept at Planika, up via Triglav Notch, down via Mali Triglav. The concrete ring is already prepared. Unfortunately, two Poles 'messed it up' right away up there. But this fact has at least the pleasant consequence that it's recorded when the concrete slab was made (19.9.; see photo). The mountain was pleasantly empty, dominated by foreigners. Planika operates only this weekend (until 1.10.) - hurry! Larches are still green, but there's some yellow streak (see photo). Autumn atmosphere provided by the cool, ideal for hiking.

Bravo, congratulations also from Justin! He unfortunately has a broken arm, otherwise we had it planned too. Well, that's why I yesterday did a quick service trip up ...

Yesterday visited Triglav again. Ascent via Plemenice, descent via Kredarica and along Tominškova. Weather was perfect, not too cold, not too hot, whole day without a cloud, view all the way to the sea...Not many people on the path, just a bit more at the summit. All huts apparently occupied by Czechs and Hungarians, because they had a holiday yesterday...even in Aljažev dom there were tons.. >>Click to view short video<<

Hello. Tomorrow I plan to go to Triglav, how is the snow and the huts? I would like to go via Dolič. Thanks.

PZS says the hut at Dolič is already closed. Planika hut is also closed, @Peter Pehani wrote that a bit higher up. No big deal, now it'll be even nicer to go to the mountains, since lots have closed for some peace.

Me also interested how now via Plemenice to Triglav. Probably not much snow and still possible without crampons?

Pic 38 - that pilot must be very good! Incredibly fast does landings and takeoffs between Rudno polje and Kredarica. If feeling not wrong (i.e. last Wed), for return less than 15 min (in time took and dropped cargo).
