Type Triglav at the top of this page and it will show all routes. Don't forget, if you don't know the summer paths then you have no business looking for them in the snow Good luck

Dear, On Friday and Saturday I plan an ascent to Triglav from Krma valley towards Kredarica, sleep there and early morning to the top. Interested how far car can go in the valley, what snow like from base to Kredarica and general snow conditions (avalanche risk). Thanks regards

Good question and on the day few cm will fall. Till this morning you drove car to the end. Not much change on road Friday. Walk was also unique. Friday or Saturday you'll have fresh snow well trodden already.

Hi guys, sorry for the English but I speak a little Slovenian Planning to go to Triglav this weekend, but we're thinking of starting in the south. I think all of the films from winter hiking show the way from Kredarica. Maybe some of you hiked to Triglav in winter from Trzaska Koca or Dom Planika? Can we expect a visible way from them at that time? And can you compare the winter route from them with the way from Kredarica? We know that the huts are close Thanks a lot!

Hey, it is highly unlikely that either of those paths (apart from the one from Kredarica) will be visible/broken in, considering we got 20-30cm of fresh snow just this Sunday/Monday. You should just stick to the usual route via Kredarica. Also, the hut there is open throughout the whole year. Rooms are not heated, but you can still sleep there and get some fresh food and drinks. Good luck!

Evening, so 30 cm new snow? How much avalanche area between 1200 and 2000 m, considering forecast +8 degrees C and quite sunny? Thanks!

+8, don't know where you see above 1500m around Kredarica? Conditions must be good, don't know why not.

No frost, started from Krma at 21.00 and back two hours ago, turned halfway (a bit below Pragarca)... Snow soft, around 40cm sinking. "Say" good for snowshoes and skis... Last time better in Krma... Recommend park at Kovinarski (except 4x4, those at parking), if at all - else not worth up... Weather cloudy... Conditions in gates (Prag, Tominškova etc) dunno... Would go but crevasses, solo off!
