Well, thanks for your discussions which mostly don't answer the question which was simpler.. I can simplify it more, is the path dry and passable without winter gear (crampons/ice axe) or not? Thanks

roblek I dug a bit deeper and asked in my group about conditions. Sunday someone was/were there and it was all ok. No winter gear needed. Yesterday, today as visible no snowing, bit of rain. All ok.

Is it possible to do a nice loop from Krma to Triglav? That's the only one (from Krma) I haven't hiked yet and I'd try it. Is the trail nice, scenic?

Krma - Kredarica - Triglav summit - Planika - Vodnikov dom - Vernar (scree exposed pathless terrain) - over Bohinjska vrata back to Krma. For me one of the nicer autumn loop hikes. I go once a year at this time. For sunrise on Triglav then breakfast at Vodnik and nap for an hour then continue. Awesome!

You can skip Vernar and go directly back to Krma.

Yesterday's warm day was calling for a visit to our daddy and as always it didn't disappoint. Started via Planina Konjščica and past Vodnikov dom to Planika dom. After short break continue on Gorjanski path via Triglavska škrbina to Triglav summit. Quite a few hikers on top. Views wonderful across our homeland and neighboring countries. The trail itself without issues, some pitons removed along the way but not an obstacle. Descend via Kredarica back to start. Nice mountaineer's greeting.

Yesterday my son and I took advantage of one of the last nice autumn days, and from Vrata via Luknja and Plemenice headed to the top. Weather sunny, only the wind was cooling all the time. Path is OK, a couple of pitons damaged and pulled out. Return via Prag. Really wonderful day, smartly used.

@hijacker - haven't walked Tominškova but went yesterday via Slovenska gora and down via prag. No snow anywhere, not even in Slovenska grapa, so probably none on Tominškova either mežikanje

Hijacker: went yesterday, completely dry, no peculiarities. Rock dry, pay attention also below in the forest where there are lots of leaves. Good luck
