Definitely not fully dry. Don't need to be there to know. If no snow crossing below (even just a few meters), then surely some on the slopes. As for gear, everyone knows for themselves, I surely wouldn't use it. Speaking of over Prag to Kredarica. Good luck

Today via Pl. Konjščica - Vodnikov dom - Planika - Triglav and back the same path. The whole path is not yet dry, on the slope from Konjsko sedlo to Planika need to cross two snowfields, which in the morning until the sun hits can be hard, below Planika there is still a big snowfield, which we bypassed on the left side and joined the path from Dolič. Above Planika there is a steep snowfield, where some used crampons, we first turned left to Gorjanska pot and then right found dry parts and thus avoided that slope and did not use winter gear on the entire path. Further to the chimney and Mali Triglav and along the ridge to the top the path is almost fully dry, as you only occasionally step a bit on snow. There were not many people on the entire path, but already Czechs, Chinese,... Otherwise a nice and already hot summer day, so all sun protection is mandatory.

Yesterday's sunrise on Triglav. As usual perfect morning up high on the homeland peak. Already before Kalvarija put on crampons and kept them to the top, though much dry, but didn't want to bother up-down. Early morning winter gear mandatory, frozen snow and without it you have nothing to seek. Still lots of snow on slopes and hard to avoid completely.

Hello It's not exactly the right topic but I don't know where else to ask. I'm wondering when all the high mountain huts will open? I mean Triglavski dom na Kredarici and Dom Planika. I'd like to visit Pogačnikov dom na Kriških Podih too. According to the PZS website, everything is currently closed. Regards

I sent inquiries for several huts these days and got the following answers: Koča na Doliču will open for guests this year on 2 July, Vodnikov dom will open this weekend if weather allows helicopter to land to equip it, Zasavska opens 25.6.

By the way, I don't know if this is a topic for here. I'm heading to Triglav and wondering where "end of road at Pokljuka" is. From the description I can't figure out how to get to the starting point (description after barracks... From there continue straight on gravel road which a bit further brings us to junction where continue right (left Uskovnica). Follow this road to parking at end of road (nearby mountain signs for Planina Konjščica)). When I looked at Google Maps there are huge turnoffs right and straight and no real left turnoff. When I googled the road I found that parking since 2018 supposedly paid (at hotel). Would ask if someone makes screenshot from Google Maps and marks parking or explains differently which right turnoff is correct.

When you're there you'll see it's completely straightforward (and exactly as written in the description ).

At the end parking (by barracks) a gravel road branches off completely perpendicular to the right with all necessary signs for Triglav. PS: According to your description via Planina Konjščica you'll go another time when you have better idea where what is.

From the beginning to the entry into the wall there is still snow. What each one uses, they know themselves, probably you know in what footwear you are made to do the ascent. We are different, it's hard to compare others. If the starting point were Vrata I would surely have different footwear than if starting in Krma. Good luck
