Is winter gear still needed via Plemenice?

Not a speck of snow on path via Plemenice. Western Triglav plateau still has snow. At least there was. But it's soft and no winter gear needed. Bovška škrbina clear and then to summit.

What's the condition of the path from Kot valley and over Vrbanove špice to Staničev dom, any snow?

a little on the way to Debeleg kamen and from Stanič back to the stone, but nothing worth mentioning, maybe 10-20 steps over snowfield

Maybe someone knows how it is with snowfields from Planika towards Triglavska škrbina (Gorjanska pot?)

Question: is public transport possible to any other starting point besides Bohinjska Bistrica - Rudno Polje?

https://promet.bohinj.si/brezplacni-prevozi/

Edit: I've read where all lines go on the website, asking which stops are still suitable as starting points. I want to avoid car use without greatly extending the trip.

Which starting point and route do you recommend for Triglav? I'm deciding between starting points Krma and the end of the road on Pokljuka, then via Planika and Mali Triglav up.

For me personally, from Krma it is more interesting and less boring than from Pokljuka. But from Krma there is a bit more elevation. You also have the option for a partial loop tour if you go up from Kredarica and down to Planika.

Question without answer. Everyone has their own taste. First go one, next time the other.

Exactly as J.S. says!
For example, to me the path from Pokljuka, past Tosca and through the wonderful Velo Polje is one of the most scenic in Slovenia! And further on more varied than from Krma.
More trained, "demanding" hikers choose Vrata or Zadnjica anyway.

For the first ascent, I would take the start from Pokljuka: less elevation, nicer views (whole Bohinj side, Velo polje), more varied: up, straight, up, ...

Then onwards...

From Pokljuka it's not significantly less elevation, it goes up and down several times. It's more km and time-wise it adds up more in the end. Maybe less monotonous than from Krma.
As for beauty, everyone has their own opinion. To me the most beautiful is through Plemenice... but that's not for the first time.

Hi, a colleague is interested if the path V Kot or to the starting point is passable. He heard something that due to mess from avalanches the path is not passable. Thanks for the answer or help.

Hi. And who knows how it is with snowfields from Planika towards Triglavska škrbina?

Hi,

I'm interested if you can still drive by car to the end of the road on Pokljuka as written in the description and park there or if you need to park at rudno polje and how much extra walking is there from rudno polje to that parking at the end of the road?

Thanks, best regards

I think the road is being built to Kredarica, I think you can already drive to Planika
