Is it really hard to write an honest, short and concise answer?

With a car you can reach the parking behind planina Konjščica, that's about 7 minutes of gravel from Rudno polje onwards (by car). To the planina is about a half-hour walk, approximately 20 minutes higher up the path joins the one from Rudno polje.

@Svizec89 and @črow, on this link it says you shorten the path by 20 minutes click I think that's negligibly little compared to the total walking time, so I suggest you nicely park at Rudno polje and use those 20 minutes for easy warm-up before you rush into the hill.

Those twenty minutes aren't true, because it's a different path. Twenty minutes is from the barracks to P above the ski slope, if you park at P below Konjščica you shorten the path by about an hour of walking. P above ski slope isn't P below Konjščica, those seven minutes of gravel is meant as driving by car.

@turbo True, I've only just noticed now that it's about another route. Mea Culpa.

Hi, I'm asking again about the condition on Kugy's shelf. Has anyone gone across the shelf recently? What's the condition of the path, do the cables still exist? What's the difficulty if there's no cable? Which side is better to cross from the western Triglav plateau or via the cirques? Is there still snow there? Does anyone perhaps have a recent photo of the shelf? Lp

Hello A more general answer. I suggest you go from the Western Triglav Plateau, you'll find the start of the approach to this route more easily. There have already been photos of the route start posted on this forum. The shelf is short and very airy and not for those afraid of heights, but you see the size of the Triglav North Face. Maybe a tip I did it in the direction Lunja, Plemenice, Kugy shelves, Stanič hut, Za Cmirjem.

One question...What do you think of this tour: Krma Valley - Stanič Hut - Kredarica (1st day and sleep at Kredarica) - Morning start from Kredarica to Triglav - from Triglav to Kredarica - from Kredarica to Planika Hut - from Planika to Vodnik Hut - Krma...Your opinion?

I believe so, but I'm not going alone. I'm wondering if the path from Triglav to Planika is trickier than from Triglav to Kredarica?

Everyone will tell you differently. For me personally the Planika-Triglav route is several times easier than Kredarica-Triglav, which is (again for me) the hardest of marked approaches (harder also than via Triglav Škrbina or from Dolič direction). Good luck, LP

For me the route from Kredarica to the top always went by much faster. And for going down it was more pleasant too, because there's less scree than towards Planika. It has more protections too, but is more exposed. As the previous said, every rating is very subjective.

Triglav is Triglav, first time special charm, this time for Sanja. Bravo Sanja. Even twentieth time is great. A year with conquered Triglav is not the same as a year without Triglav. Six of us gathered, two guys and four girls. On Wednesday from Pokljuka past Vodnik hut to Planika. In the afternoon it clouded over and we decided to go to the summit on Thursday morning. We look at the summit, did we decide right...On Thursday, 12.8. it was completely clear and we were glad to head to the summit in clear weather. All protections are fine, cables everywhere, caution and careful steps always needed. We all have to put in some effort to conquer Triglav, some easier, some harder, some in record times, others a minute more than marked. But all happy at the summit and glad for the good return. At the summit obligatory photos in all poses. Thanks for the sung song, really touching. Spontaneous, but the nicest celebration... At Planika we met 18-month-old Martin, what a fun boy. Lots of fragrant little roses on the way to Pokljuka. On behalf of the whole team thanks to Alenka.

Kawasaki your tour schedule by official times is 15 hours without stops, with that from Kredarica to Triglav no chance to do it in 1 hour and back to Kredarica in 1 hour, which are official times... Now in peak season, time Kredarica Triglav at least 1.5h, same back... Definitely a two-day tour...
