Further from Kovinarska hut before the ramp you have a slightly more careful crossing of some torrent but nothing serious. No problem with caravan. Good luck

Hello. Has anyone gone through Plemenice, is full winter gear needed or can it be done without?

In choosing two nice days I was lucky on Tuesday and Wednesday, as the first visit to grandpa stays forever in memory. With grandson at eight we leave the parking in Krma and head on a two-day trip. This is my classic winter variant, but after a long time I had the chance to walk it in summer too. Since the boy walked well, we also visited Planika, as we had plenty of time. With a thousand questions time passed even faster. At Kredarica we get a room with view to Triglav, we settle nicely as we are alone in the room. I jump to Mali before evening, Taj watched me from the bench in front of the hut the whole time to see where he will walk tomorrow. Two-day enjoyment, good that I have quite a few grandsons No queue anywhere, Slovenes were in minority. On descent from Kredarica I was glad for the light fogs, the sun was burning unhindered only below Prgarca. Unfortunately Dani is closed on Wednesdays, so we missed the obligatory cream slices.

Congratulations, youngsters, Last year I took my daughter to Triglav (12 years old), I was a bit skeptical, but now she's been nagging me all year when we're going again. Well, we're going in 3 weeks. Youngsters do surprise, but it's true we're active almost every weekend. Proud dad Roman and mom Mateja. Good luck, Tone, onwards. cheers,

Thanks everyone for the praise. I'll pass it on to my chamois, to encourage him even more. But what, when 'those young ones' have no ear for mountains and devote themselves only to the sea...

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone went recently across Kugy's ledge. Curious about the path condition, (last comment on hribi 2013.. cable snapped). What's the difficulty without cable. Better to cross from west or east side? Still snow there? Anyone have a recent pic of that ledge? Regards

That's how it looked 20.7. Snow visible more left towards ledges. Maybe already melted?
