What about weather conditions? Today is Wednesday, until Saturday there are still three days.

How is the parking? I plan to leave the car somewhere near the hut at Vojah, but from what I've seen on forums, there's some ramp and expensive parking etc.

Can someone recommend where to leave the car for 2-3 days?

Parking for 2-3 days in Bohinj... your whole fortune mrk pogled
What's the route plan? Maybe parking at Pokljuka, you can still go quite a nice part on the same path as if the start was at Vojah.

As long as prices from two years ago haven't been lowered, the last parking before entering Voje valley (Stara Fužina) was 3 eur/hour. Now calculate based on the number of hours how much the parking will be. Hourly high!! I addressed my disagreement to: obcina@bohinj.si, but as expected, they didn't even reply.

My wife and I went to Krsterniški Stog then, on 18 November 2023. We used 9 hours and paid 27 eur. With Bohinj's parking tourism, they won't see me there anymore. Mountains and nature don't lose beauty and attractiveness with this, but with such behavior they'll lose us hikers. Only foreign summer tourists will remain. Luckily we deterred at least one Pole before entering the parking.

Pokljuka has much cheaper parking (7 eur/day), though still Bohinj municipality.

Matjaž from Ljubljana.

We did it a few years ago by leaving the car for several days for free at P Kobla (this year it's free again) and using bus transport (no longer free, buy ticket online in advance for 2 euros/24h) to the tour starting point. So we could finish the tour at another starting point and take the bus back to Kobla. Similar for P Senožet, from there bus goes towards Blato (stops also at Voje junction), but P costs 5 euros per day. Maybe useful? And from this year we can also go with dogs on those buses, hooray, so it's usable for us again. nasmeh

@Transdeus ... go from Pokljuka. The large parking lot next to the barracks is free, confirmed by the sign on the road. Just a bit further is the municipal parking, which really costs 7€ per day.
Free1
A little further ... paid2

Best not to park anywhere now and not go near Triglav, because it's desperate all around. Unless you have a special desire to queue up to the top of Triglav. Tourists (Slov+foreign, no mistake) are way too many and I don't know how this will end, it's getting worse year by year. Crowd around Triglav indescribable, people don't know how to behave, no peace anymore, etc. Yesterday also at/on Bohinj Lake, like at a city swimming pool. All together grotesque, becoming an amusement park. And this is supposed to be TNP.

Thanks for replies, the plan was to start from hut at Voje and head to Vodnikov dom then to Kredarica where I'd overnight. Then to Triglav, Triglav lakes and to hut at Planina pri Jezeru where overnight again and back to hut at Voje. I chose this tour because the descent is very calm and pleasant, as the descent at Savica waterfall seems too steep every time I went and I'd avoid it. If there's option to leave car in Stara Fužina I'll walk that 1h too.
Only alternative I found is leave car at Vogel gondola and go by bus to Stara Fužina

You won't be able to overnight at Kredarica. Yesterday the warden told me they are fully booked by foreigners till end of season.
Yesterday no excessive crowds. I went from Krma, of course didn't meet any Slovene. Czechs and Bulgarians prevailed, and English-speaking tourists.
I advise you to go midweek and as early as possible.

Don't they have to offer accommodation by law always? And if all booked, then it's bench in dining room or floor with cushion.

@coffee, something like that. But they never tell you on the phone, only when you arrive and confront them, they find a bench. But understandable, nobody wants 20, 30, maybe 50 more people than beds nasmeh

At the beginning of August I plan to ascend Triglav from Zadnjica, on the path that goes through Plemenice and Triglav Notch. Has anyone been recently? Do you think the path is equally full of foreigners and tourists as those that go over Mali Triglav? Thanks

That all regular rooms at Kredarica are full until September holds true. That there's usually a whole circus there and it's worth rethinking the point of visiting in high season also.

Completely totally booked they nevertheless (yet) aren't - on common sleeping places there are still quite some free spots even in August, especially during weekdays, check the reservation system.

lepmackon11 your mentioned path will be within normal only if you go very early on a nice day and obligatorily during the week, at least Friday, weekend better not. From Zadnjica to Luknja should be ok, Plemenice also shouldn't be overcrowded somewhere to the Notch, then there's no chance there won't be crowds. Good luck.

2 days ago did the tour from Zadnjica over Plemenice, started at 3am, was at the top at 8. Up to Triglav Notch I didn't meet almost anyone, last 200m maybe 5 people. Descended over Mali Triglav to Vodnik and Pokljuka. There was some crowd, but I think it's not too bad and the whole path was simply wonderful. To all who are setting off I'd still recommend starting early enough. Also two years ago from Vrata I had similar experience (after Tominskov I didn't meet anyone to Kredarica).
