Has anyone gone recently via Tominšek's? Is there still any snow in the gully below the summit? Or is it all dry.

Congrats to Igor for the real "Triglav" tour! I see the Vodnik hut is open (from PZS web) but no info on Planika. I tried PD Gorje but no one answers and after a while the fax kicks in. Does anyone have ideas how to contact someone with Planika info?

Igor, judging by the pictures we met at the summit... my girl and I set off from Veliko polje past Planika. There's still some snow around the hut and up to it, from the hut to the summit the path is bare. It was a fantastic day, quite dynamic weather, cloudy, then sunny (at the top), in the afternoon even a few raindrops fell. I summited Triglav for the first time! I uploaded photos to my blog: From Planika to Triglav.

I always had a secret wish to see the sunrise on Triglav. On Saturday it came to mind, so I called the weather guy about the weather. I head up at 23:30 from Krma, due to too fast progress I later took more breaks. On Triglav I welcomed the sunrise, indescribable moments. On the return to the valley I drank some fresh mountain water (of course I stopped at Kredarica, where I drank the deserved sadjevec and cold beer), which flowed right down the path. I ended the wonderful day at 8:30 and headed home, or rather to work. Wonderful day behind me.

Great, you pulled it off and were rewarded with the sunrise. How is the snow to Kredarica? How is it from Kredarica in the wall and along the ridge? Equipped? Best, Vik

Snow to Kredarica, only on some parts and on Kalvarija. Before ascent to Mali Triglav there's still some snow, but it's southern, no snow in the wall itself, path is bare to Veliki Triglav, so winter gear no longer needed.

Today again to Triglav, classic Zadnjica - old Kugy path - Plemenice - Triglav. On ZTP still quite a lot of snow, but with proper gear no problem, snow also in Triglav notch. With free descended to BZTP where Lojz served us tea, then to Dolič, visited the hut staff there (below Dolič also quite some snow, so need to take variants off path) and via Čez Komar back to valley. Nice day, great company on the way and of course fun ascent and descent.

I today went up from Krma over Kredarica with colleague, descent to Planika. Trail conditions nothing worth mentioning, all described before. At summit same time as Igor, international company of Slovenes, Czechs, Slovak girl, Austrians and on way down met Varaždin team

Yes those are really wonderful pics. Someone mentioned snow at Dolič, interested which path has the most? Planning with buddy Saturday from Trenta to Dolič then from Dolič over Hribarice to Prehodavci and from Prehodavci down back to Trenta. Can someone tell which path is best worth it, since over Komar seems quite demanding. Any extra gear needed for mentioned route and how long does it all take? p.s. Just called Dolič hut and they say path from Trenta to hut is normally passable, then called Prehodavci and they say on the slope via Hribarice to Prehodavci still quite some snow and some need ice axe some pass without. Can someone advise or been there recently? Thanks

As long as there are still snowfields on the path ice axe is mandatory and during cold fronts also crampons of course helmet, goggles, because otherwise it's not good to stop at 60km/h or more at the end of the snowfield in rocky terrain.

@zvitorepec Asking is no sin,but it's a sin to go high mountains in June and even July in places without ice axe.Just get one and happy trails.

Today I went to check how's the situation on Bamberg path. Still two patches of snow but you can go nicely around. And one peg is pulled out which doesn't bother. To Plemenice of course further there's still quite some snow.
