I agree 100% with you swiss! Whoever has something useful to say or advise others let them write it, the rest better "move" elsewhere. There is no shortage of such blogs. Best regards.

On Saturday we went up from Pokljuka past Planika. Huge crowds of people, luckily the group of 100 women on the Triglav route to the summit started only in the afternoon, but still there was quite a queue over the ridge. Otherwise excellent day, nice atmosphere on the way and wonderful views. The shepherd left Velo polje on Sunday, the cows also left the pastures that we met on the way to Konjščica. I posted more photos on my blog, does anyone spot themselves? link: Triglav Photos

we're going Friday afternoon from Kota to Stanič's hut and then on to Kredarica. (rumor has it the hut is full ) The ascent to Triglav is not a piece of cake for everyone and many put a lot of training and prep into this climb. Otherwise my opinion (which you all know well, I've written about it often) doesn't change. If anyone wants I'll gladly baptize him on Saturday... and drink a cup. Send PM with title: beaten in the mountains (joke! ) A little more patience and compact rocks; also to dogs...

Looks like Triglav had a mohawk again on Saturday.

I'll spice up the topic a bit more When I went recently via Plemenice to Triglav I was the worst equipped hiker at the top, although helmet was there, but my dressing style isn't really suitable for the mountains. Those Plemenice let me know the path is strenuous, sure via ferrata goes, but heights and kg. Some really prepare for Triglav, others contra but all get up down, wonder how many such hikers would go same year same week up down, think not even 0.5 percent.

So, time is almost 3.00 and we're heading from MB to Planina Blato, where we plan around 6.00 start hiking. We go past Triglav Lakes to Dolič, on Friday to the top and descent to valley. See you..

Garmont, they say the little spring under Begunjski vrh probably dried up forever, the cause is supposed to be one of the smaller earthquakes in Triglav range.

ljubitelj gora: I would repeat Saturday's tour already today! For Triglav head is more important than legs, although without them it doesn't go normally! More patience ...

Hello! I'm wondering if it's smart to head to Triglav next weekend given that on Monday they forecast rain in the valley and 10 degrees Celsius... we'd go Saturday and return Sunday? some advice would be welcome.. thanks

MasTaj, regarding the weather this link http://www.ilmeteo.it/meteo-europa/Triglav?refresh_ce has already been posted several times. About smart and stupid trips to Triglav everyone surely has their own opinion based on their experiences, readiness and more. Based on the current weather forecast, your abilities, readiness,... I'd say it's stupid to set off to Daddy

It was a smart decision. From Zadnjica to Luknja, then across Plemenice to Triglav, back down to Plemenice and via Kugy back to Zadnjica. Weather excellent for walking, views from the top limited of course, but I've seen them many times already, path without specials or now part of the path even better, and I met some forum folks, one who was wandering with a buddy on Pelc I even drove back to his starting point at the church and got an abundant lunch afterwards.

Rain is coming, snow in the mountains will at least wash and sweep away this air loaded with stuffiness a bit...next week warmer again.

Exactly as Urbanček wrote, horror, bottles around ... We experienced this calvary today because it tempted me to see how it looks. Thanks a lot for that, real mountaineers are rare at Kredarica. Otherwise I sign under your comment Urbanček. Well, we could also watch a rescue. Horror LP!

When I visited the still heavily snow-covered Kredarica this April and looked towards our daddy, I decided to visit him when it's nice. But I didn't gather enough courage, I admit . However, if someone you trust accompanies you on the way, then courage comes by itself . We set off on Friday from Pokljuka to Vodnikov dom and from there to Planika, where we slept, this morning to the top. I must say that the staff at the hut despite it being packed kept a lot of good mood, friendliness and patience . Beautiful morning dawn accompanied us on the way, but we already met a group returning from the top on the path. We met the first larger group on the way back, but according to Urbanček's story we timed the trip right, as we didn't get stuck anywhere. We returned the same way, but the view towards Triglav already foreshadowed the fulfillment of the weather forecast . The beautiful sunny days passed too quickly .
