hi on Friday afternoon I'd head from Savica to hut at TJ. Next day first to Tičarice and Zelnarice. Anyone know from own experience how to continue the tour without Triglav and return to same spot Sunday so it fits timewise. thanks for reply. hi

Frank45, in my opinion the best is if on the second day you head along the Triglav Lakes valley to Zasavska hut at Prehodavci, quickly refresh yourself and climb towards Hribarice to the junction for Vrata. From Vrata saddle up to both Zelnarice, past Kopica to M. Tičarica and down to Ovčarija plain, then to Bregarjev shelter at Viševnik plain. From Viševnik plain down to seventh Triglav lake Črno jezero and over Komarča to Savica. If you're in good condition you'll manage the path b.p., all marked too. I wish you lots of enjoyment. Igor

frenk45, you'll probably have to postpone this tour to nicer weather, as Saturday, Sunday, Monday look like just rain with low temps. SAD.

I too got a good shower today at the seven lakes. The morning was nice, despite the early hour I didn't manage to reach Veliko Špičje. A little below the summit it started pouring and I decided it's better to return to the hut. In pleasant company in the hut, which in the meantime filled with soaked hikers, I drank tea. Since the rain didn't stop, after a while I decided to continue to the valley via Komarča as the car was waiting for me in Savica. It was wet but still OK as long as there's no thunder and lightning flashing across the sky. Nice greetings.

For the weekend we plan from Pl. Blato to Triglav Lakes. The original plan was to sleep at Zasavska Hut, which unfortunately is booked, so we reserved at the Hut at Triglav Lakes. This disrupted our planned tour a bit and since it's our first time we don't know the best combination. So start and finish is Pl. Blato, 2 days, overnight at Hut Triglav. We'd like to see all lakes of course. Please suggestions.

From Pl. Viševnik add another hour to Pršivec and you have a wonderful panorama with Lake Bohinj and almost the entire trail walked. You won't regret it

Still one more question, namely about time. So if first day we go from Pl. Blato via Za Kopico to Prehodavci and then along 7J valley to Hut at Triglav Lakes, approx. how much walking? And then next day to Black Lake and over Viševnik how many hours? Fitness-wise we're all in the lower average. Thanks again

Oh and how does the path look along Lopučniška valley and then to Viševnik? Also time-wise.

I don't know about the path through Lopučniška valley, from Black Lake to Viševnik it was just one big marsh (mud) a good week ago. For average hiker around two hours, maybe a bit less (from the lake onwards).

KatjaS first day about 7 hours (Pl. Blato - Prehodavci 5h, Prehodavci - 7J 2h), second day good 4 hours (7J - Black Lake 1.5h, Black L. - Pl. Blato 2h 40min) without detour to Pršivec.

Aleksandra, really nice pictures . I was also at the lakes these days and they excited me again I always experience them in some different way. This time I came to the Valley of the Triglav Lakes via Dolič and Kanjavec. Since we had a room reserved at the Hut at the Seven Lakes, we stopped at each lake for about 1 hour . The weather was really ideal, practically without a cloud . Because the weather was really nice, the hut was packed full, so really good that we reserved about a month and a half ago.
