Turski Gully – Rinke
Despite the forecast that SW wind will "sweep" today we head to Logar Valley. To me somehow not for going into snow. Janez also grumbles, others "pumped" for "O". I refused Stanko yesterday's Kredarica. Not much energy for crampons and snow trudging. Announced participants: "strikan", Zdravko, "Pika", and of course Janez who finally in the evening thinks again and confirms.
7:10 at turnaround under waterfall. Road currently solid, dry, except to parking strips of frozen snow in middle. "Pika's" car slid a bit with underbelly on icy snow, no wonder such load…. velik nasmeh

Before eight at GRS. Higher walls orange in morning sun. Snow loose, wet up to 10cm. Snow depth rises as we approach gully. At "rocks" put on crampons and ice axes in hands. No crowd, snow slides down gully and soon feel strong wind higher. Some places bit frozen, but conditions good. Gully exit in sun, wind merciless sweeps. Janez hurried and before I top gully he already back from Turska… zmeden

10:15.
They blast to Rinke. Decide to follow to Little Rinke. Watch a while how they advance in white slope in wind. Gusts moments quite strong watch not swept over wall edge. Don't envy top when see ice slabs fly air wind tears from rocks. Soon descend to gully exit. Plan snack leeward but .....wind merciless. Snack stays backpack. After short pause and tea from friendly mountaineer decide not wait. Descend gully. Start descent predicts conditions changed much. Wind down gully merciless whips carries snow crystals. Soon all snow-covered. Visibility moments so bad barely see Janez following. Together descend search best paths between snow banks and cornices forming in fierce wind. Others soon show in gully all hurry down.
Stop at GRS (13:30) to rest bit, snack, prepare descent to car. View wall edges backlit sun white snow veils wind whips magical… cool

Some overtake others and do not choose the way

Well-deserved break before the last descent to the waterfall, which is also quite demanding due to the partially icy path

Zlatko, almost met morning. Little before you turned into Matkov kot.
But must have blown hard up there before noon. Saw smoking from all peaks. When reached valley, smoking from Mrzla gora too.
I had only little wind on top, otherwise gliding in snow. velik nasmeh

Congrats all participants, this must have been great. Only the wind you really had fierce.
