After a weather-wise bad Friday came a super Saturday. The shortest day of the year was only on paper this time, as the sun dominated all day.
Before Calcit I barely found space for the car, so many people headed towards the nice day. But only to Primož, since together with the cable car operator, waitress and bus driver I saw no more than thirty people. On the planina divine, if you pick the path a bit, no need for gaiters or crampons. At Lidija obligatory herbal tea, I change right by the stove, since the inn is empty. Almost summer walk on the planina, I'm scared if this winter trend continues, what will it be in twenty, thirty years In my youth the grass was under snow cover from November to April and that at half height of this hill.
Both drivers to Calcit were coordinated, at 12.20 I was already with cappuccino at my favorite spot.

1) The peak above Gojška planina is Bukovec, which I sometimes unjustly name Bukovnik even though I know the right name. Anyway, I miss a good map with names of all peaks, huts and more. The plateau (Velika planina) is very dear to me and I visit it accordingly often.
2) The "medicines" on Bukovec, probably alcoholic, don't interest me, I don't miss them, don't need them and don't check them.

Ha, good that it's about medicines and not alcohol, which kills and is the worm of our society.
Well, I went up today for health, for a decent dose of sun and to see if there are any hot chicks there. The last one didn't pan out, almost no chicks, those that were there were dressed for -20 degrees, even though the weather up there was really nice. New snow about 7 cm, which is dangerous in some places since the base is frozen.
Lidija in Jarški again alone, if I were in her place I'd cook only two dishes, but the poor thing prepares food like she's in a valley inn with many helpers.
To Gradišče touristy, mostly I walk along the fence since wind 00. Like a few times before, I ordered the cable car and bus just for myself, at twelve they're probably all at lunch.

Snow has melted, on the Pasje pečine section it's very icy. Danger arises that with possible new snowfall, when snow covers completely smooth surfaces we step on it and slide into the abyss. I suggest crampons or bypass via Pirčev vrh. These are welcome also on the planina, which is otherwise mostly bare and ground frozen, but ice poorly visible between grass. In the morning there were sections of fog with visibility under ten meters, before Gradišče it pulled so much that walking with poles wasn't possible Luckily the cable car was running, otherwise I'd have to extend today's trip quite a bit
