Yesterday, curiosity drove me to check the condition of the path over Rigelj to the mentioned mountain. I have to admit I soon regretted going because already the start of the path hinted that no one has dealt with the ice damage yet. Already at the very beginning, the hunting feeder suffered, as a huge tree fell on it, so they removed it completely. From there the ordeal begins. Trees lie everywhere and it's very hard to follow the path. For a section that would take 20 minutes, I used a whole hour. But you can see that quite a few people went ahead of me on this nice path; there are already quite a few detours, which are mostly vertical, and if the trees aren't cleared soon, erosion will start quickly on those routes, causing damage. In the last part, it was visible that some enthusiast tried to saw the trees partially but soon gave up. Above about 800 m you rarely see any fallen tree; higher up the path is untouched. Up top there were crowds of visitors and I quickly headed down via Primož.

Yes, bureaucrats are at the shepherds on Velika Planina again. We were present at the moment when two women in mountaineering gear arrived and regardless that the shepherd was outside, WITHOUT ASKING AND PERMISSION entered the hut. When the shepherd saw that he followed them into the hut where they started inquiring about dairy products. And the litanies began. They identified themselves only outside. They were very arrogant and full of themselves, not a bit down-to-earth. Regardless that the shepherd had very nice cheese which they themselves praised, he had to destroy it (because he didn't send milk and cheese samples for analysis). He could keep three for himself. How did they know those three were good? Now they've tasked the shepherds to keep daily records of how much milk they milk, how much cheese, sour milk they make from it, send for analysis... And that squeezes you somewhere! And all this circus and costs for three months, as long as the shepherds are on the pasture. And finally we wonder how many people got poisoned by cheese or sour milk bought from shepherds. But in schools and kindergartens already! There let them rampage, not with shepherds who still persist in our mountains and earn some euro with dairy sales!

Today on fantastic path over kuklarje to konjščica and back over dol. Access descriptions are very good, nicely detailed thing, but still need to search carefully. Crossing is tough, ropes and old cables for morale, in middle less crumbly trail above drop remains for each hiker (somewhere less than foot wide). Higher it's even nastier with very wet descent and right crossing. Otherwise wilderness and beauty hard to find here. When I photographed path from graben on return, my hair stood on end

I was up there in May on this path, obviously the thing is still the same, given the path is quite interesting and several hikers pass it, wouldn't be bad if some club arranged it, maybe even marked it.
