Ehm... am I blind by chance? None of the 24 pics show how the dude looks. Well, except one silhouette...
From Sunday to today conditions couldn't have changed much. It would be totally outdated only if 1m of snow had fallen... but like this I don't see the problem. And the pics are nice to look at nasmeh

Yesterday (5.1.) went from Stahovica over Mala Planina to Gradišče.

Up to Sv. Primož all dry, last bend icy. Up to cca. 1200m the path is already quite worn and hard packed (bobsled track), so crampons are at least essential for descent. On the plateau itself paths are well trodden, snow excellent. Off paths snowshoes would come in handy.

Weather below was quite warm and partly sunny, the top was completely in cloud with visibility <50m, no wind.

I can't do without Vel'ka either and was her guest again today. My classic from Calcit to Gradišče, to Šimnovec via ski slope, down from there by air. Paths everywhere excellently trodden, from gear only sunglasses indispensable. Up top just a dozen skiers, Domžalec and Zeleni rob open.

Today I was drawn to my mountain again. I leave the car by the road at Calcit and head towards Primož. Up to 1200 m the path is dry as dust. Over Pirčev vrh the snow is just right frozen, there are few dry sections further on. In the empty Domžale hut I change and quench my thirst (tea 1.60 €). The closer to Gradišče, the colder it gets and the wind picks up. No skiers, although the snow is trampled and there is plenty. I was a bit doubtful about the cable car, but there was still too little wind for it and with three other passengers we sway down to the valley. After five minutes of waiting, I am already riding in a completely empty bus towards Calcit...

Not only on Planina, cable car and bus, also in Domžalski dom there was no drena.

After two km the fingers were already stiff

Today's visit starts from the other side. I start below the cable car, to the leafy serpentines the path is completely dry, snow starts just before planina Dol. Quite cold, surprised by frozen snow that holds my weight, in the steep towards planina Konjščica already icy and it stays that way to Gradišče. Again witness to strong wind, strongest on the flat of planina Dol and completely stopped me while running because it was blowing in my chest.
Next mornings still cold, so for ascent to Velika from this side recommend crampons. Today met even fewer people than on Monday, first was the waitress at Zeleni rob. nasmeh

On the plateau there are both bare and snowy slopes and frozen ground and snow do not allow spring flowers to bloom, only here and there some isolated crocus has already shown its beautiful color. Today on Vel'ka pleasantly warm, more and more bare ground, path dry almost to Mickina hut. In Domžalec I was alone again, little flowers are waking up.

Fragrant dry leaves, bird chirping, winter aids are past. Since Tuesday it melted another 10cm, on top thousands of black crocuses and a million crocuses. To Lidija for tea on tavelka, slippery descent from Gradišče, cable car and bus nicely synchronized. nasmeh

Along the edge there is hogweed everywhere

Yesterday I tasted the magnitude of winter again. At Mickina hut start of new snow, on Pirčev vrh already 10cm, on top 25. Where not blown off, sinking to knees or over. No one ahead of me from this side to Domžalec.
