A severe storm also hit the path from Stahovice to Velika planina. Already to Primož the path is washed away at least in three places. Cinematic scenes are offered. Over Pasje pečine you can't go on the lower trail, you have to take the upper winter one.
Thanks to Lidija for nicely caring for Jarški dom even in such conditions and all who seek refuge there.

Apocalypse? Seriously? It's really hard to understand that people spread the silly journalists' chatter with words of exaggeration and thereby unnecessarily scare yourselves and others. Maybe it wouldn't be bad if each of us (myself included) sometimes thought about what words we use or others use and with what intentions... Yeah I know, crazy ideas 
And one more thing... If the apocalypse came, then you, me and many others wouldn't be around anymore.

Hello everyone!
Apocalypse. Someone uses it, others get upset about it with full force. Why?! If we really stuck to all expressions with full precision in everyday communication, it would be a big problem in my opinion! But let's leave it!!! I was there on Tuesday Aug 15, parked the car at K. Rak. To get there I found a "detour", and another for the way back. On the plateau of course no "apocalypse", there were a few visitors, only Domžalski open. On Thursday I used my path experience and drove right to Ušivec. Special reasons. Good luck

Tone thanks, excellent photo report of the apocalypse on Velika Planina. There are few so brave now to walk around there.
Apocalypse. Maybe for some even more sizzling or attractive or bombastic title "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" or something similar.

Don't worry: the plateau is beautiful and safe. The problem is the access paths.
Today the first signs of recovery appeared.
Word on the street says they will officially open the road to the plateau on Sept 1. Even better to see the excavator and a couple of masters already repairing the path to Primož. They look skilled and enterprising. I'm an optimist.
