The next day after the last snowfall the path took us to unique Velika planina and we had something to see. White carpets with numerous crocus flowers on the slopes. Snow that the sun took away in a few hours and large bare areas appeared. Although the frost took its toll, there are still hundreds, thousands and more purple flowers creating a unique idyll on the plateau. Today's path from Calcita very nice, trodden and dry to the exit from the forest. Tomorrow unfortunately not anymore, as snowfalls are forecast. Despite nice day very few visitors, but the cable car on return was full, so I put on the mask again after a long time. Satisfied with logistics, as I was still at Gradišče at 11:40, at 12:15 already at the car in Stahovica.nasmeh

Yesterday and today only to Mickina hut. No more closed crocuses along the path. Walking on the path is a real pleasure, where there are no pebbles, twigs or mud. Peter still hasn't set up the drink machine, but his orchard is adorned with nice daffodils.

Today I literally wandered alone around Vel'ka. Before Calcita it looked different, as there was space for only one more car. No snow even on Pirčev vrh anymore, it starts practically only on the plain before Jarški dom. But it's completely rotten and not much difference as if wading through puddles. To Gradišče you can navigate on bare ground, on descent to Šimnovec only flippers save younasmeh

Crocuses at their peak, literally "growing out of the snow". Most of them right around snow patches.
Otherwise, today's plan was the longest route to Velika. Up Primož and Pasje pečine, down Konjščica, Dol and "Mrtn" trail.
Summit quite bustling, even "real tourists" in coats and pressed pants. Most of the route much more solitary.

Snow and crocuses will be replaced by cows and crowds in a month. Yesterday I did the usual loop up there at the perfect temperature. In Domžalec the whole room was mine again, stove fired up, tea tasty. No word on cable car repair activities.

Today damp, foggy, gloomy, until eleven without rain or wind. In Jarški dom three quarters of an hour alone by the warm stove, to Gradišče met one family and overtook one girl, in the gondola one [person], in the bus to Calcita the same.nasmeh

The trail is still lonely, both on Monday and today between Primož and Jarški Dom no people. Just below Mickina bajta I only meet three guys fixing the path with a motorbike and excavator. Walking in pleasant coolness is a pleasure, colors on the plateau are slowly changing, herdsmen preparing for livestock arrival. Double seats already dismantled, some construction machines already up there. According to plan new six-seater to start late autumn. Cable car running smoothly.

The picture of nature changes daily, leaves on trees everywhere reached max size and offer nice shade to latecomers. But I prefer morning freshness and only towards Primož some sunny clearing. On the plateau tons of diverse flowers, cows already integrated into new environment.
In front of closed Jarški Dom I lie down on bench in solitude, in Domžalec order a beer, at Gradišče listen to chattering Poles. Praises for placing new chairlift, poles already delivered to planned spots. At 11:40 leave Gradišče, in slight drizzle at noon at Šimnovec when cable car starts, at 12:10 already in bus that drops me at car before Calcitu...
The Jarški lodge is closed the first three days of the week.1

Today I did it via Dolški graben. Haven't seen cows yet, let alone people. Considering today's forecast I hurried a bit. It started drizzling only at Konjščica. Ground gets slippery right away, but today tested new Salomons. Like poured. For Goretex test too little rain.winking Builders had free Saturday. But sites fenced off so had to find detours. Back with cable car already at half eleven.
