Tinky, thanks. It's long, Vranček-Pl.Korošica-Hanjževo sedlo-V.Vrh-Podljubelj-Vranček, or as one predecessor wrote, for the whole "shift". Climbing part requires caution and experience. Protections in good condition, path crumbly in places. Pl.Korošica a real little paradise. Only minus is the return from Podljubelj to Vranček, but if you grab cold beer in the village it goes much easier.

16.10.2013 up from Kofce, returned via Kofce gora on "that steep" back to Kofce then to the valley... It was very cold, path dry. Needed to watch steps due to very wet soil on path... Best regards!

Yesterday, 18.10.2013, circular tour: Vranček - Planina Korošica - Košutica (west path) - Hajnževo sedlo (east path from Košutica) - Veliki vrh (climbing path) - Kofce - Matizovec - Podljubelj.
Sunny weather, no clouds, fantastic views 
Climbing path to Veliki vrh is more demanding than expected from pics and desc. Used to such paths but problematic for some. No mention upper part is ridge, issue for vertigo. Via ferrata kit not mentioned though lower has wires, recommend if not 100% sure. Upper mostly free climbing.
Despite poor desc, super path, will return happily Recommend helmet mandatory, path crumbly

Today again to Kofce; goal V. Vrh or Kladivo. Saw good track on summer path, no dilemma. Otherwise over Kofce gora as usual, but to summit without crampons. Around 11 sun out, pleasant hike. Many hikers on V. Vrh, most winter gear, around 1pm alone on top. Checked ski conditions, very hard but softened afternoon. Down crampons on, visited Kofce gora, then gully where most went. Kladivo almost blown clean. Finish with super jota at friendly caretakers at Kofce.

Yesterday on Veliki vrh (Košuta)
Until noon high clouds, then sun and wonderful views. Almost no wind.
Recommend crampons.. LP

Winter this year just won't come and come. Snow is only high in the mountains. So we have no choice but to go meet it.
In the morning we park at the new parking lot, located only about a hundred elevation meters lower than the Matizovec farm. On slightly frozen ground we head towards Kofce, where the first snow patches await us, which above the pasture soon turn into consolidated snow. Here we put on crampons and with ice axe in hand continue traversing left, a bit up and then right below the ridge all the way to Great Peak.
The snow was frozen and hard in the morning, but on the return the warm sun had already softened it, consequently it was sinking here and there. Otherwise it was quite warm, slightly windy on the summit, views absolutely wonderful. There were also a lot of visitors for this time on the summit, on Kofce of course there was no place to sit as it was full of people.
We spent a nice winter day, which we really miss lower down this year.
