Does the shot bother you, or the bubblies or just birma?
Better go to Košuta, or to Šija, and place 5/5, 4/5, 3/5, 2/5, 1/5, ... (you never know where some troublemaker is and the bubble won't be effective)

Yesterday, 9.5., the hut on Kofce was very crowded and also Veliki vrh.
Football fans who can't go to the stadium showed their allegiance on Veliki vrh.

From Hajnževo sedlo the path is dry. Only in the middle part there is still one larger steep snowfield, where winter equipment is needed. All fixed protections are impeccable.

Posting under Veliki vrh, although I was first on Veliko Kladivo, Mali Kladivo, Kofce gori, Toplar and only last on Veliki vrh.
Nice sunny day, not too many hikers, full of flowers.
The hut on Pl. Kofce will be thoroughly renovated.

Today to Globoka dolina (below pl. Dolžanka), the road is quite potholed, with a bit more careful driving it also works with a lower car.

Today I went from Matizovec to Kofce and then to Great Peak. Couldn't go further because the weather turned bad. Halfway down we were caught by hail. At Kofce we comforted ourselves with good štruklji. The hut was full of hikers who were waiting out the weather there.

In the morning the entire Košuta ridge was perfectly visible.

After the via ferrata to Great Peak, in short sleeves and shorts you could sit on the ridge for half an hour. The cables are new.

At the end of September I headed to Košuta. Parked below Matizovec at the parking lot, got lucky and rode to the sawmill with its owner, then via marked path to Kofce in late morning. First ascended Kofce gora then to Great Peak and back to start. Path normally passable. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Kategorije/Novosti/kofce

From Matizovec direction on well-trodden but slippery path to Kofce, then through grass and along the ridge to Kofce gora. Summer path below ridge not yet worn in, many cracks too. On Kofce gora after sunset to Great Peak. A bit windy, not piercing, returned to Kofce gora with headlamp and along the ridge back to start with crampons.
