... Beautiful day, just windy up there. Views wonderful. Something interests me, some were at Votlo, others at Drobeče Sleme, picture always the same. Well I couldn't find any.

When you reach the ridge go left to Sleme. If you went right you'd reach Votlo Sleme (5-10 min). Actually it's all one ridge.

... I know it's to the right, but along ridge can't get there, scrub overgrown too much. Probably bit lower or right at start visible one path, thanks. Challenge for next time

I myself explored these to me little known but beautiful areas. With help of young couple (Thanks again if reading!) stood on all three summits of Sleme, but heights and names don't match for me. More let pictures say.
@Majdag if judging by pic 8 very very close.

From Vrata noteworthy snow starts only at Prečna Pot. For Sleme actually only on main ridge (before little, now nicely trodden), for Kukova Špica practically right after split from it.

Yesterday didn't seem overly sunny, but it still left a redness on the face.
Almost no snow to Vrtaška planina, the last third of the path has to be trampled. Here and there it sinks even to the butt. Anyway, with fascinating views and silence interrupted only occasionally by birds chirping, it's really not bad for a person :-)

...Planina, peak, Ridge...On the planina there's an 800 kg heavy bull....
...I hear the tinkling of bells, the livestock is coming to greet the owner. "Just go past calmly"..... So I go, the cows are already very close. I look towards them if the "jingling asset" is nearby, and I hear snorting close to me. I don't know if it was meant as a warning to me or to the cheeky young cow that was swaying her rear in front of him....

Mojstrana - Sleme - Votlo sleme - Vrtaški vrh - Mojstrana
Ascent into a mountain fairy tale above the cloud base at approx. 1500m, temperature inversion, clarity of views, windless. On the summit just a hint of snow, but nice to draw fresh footprints in untouched snow, which later a couple of hikers followed
Ridge traverse to Votlo sleme, which is dry and descent down the steeper eastern grassy slope back to the marked trail.
Praise to whoever nicely provided new summit logbooks with two ballpoint pens each, wrapped together in a plastic bag at all log locations with boxes.

Vrtaška planina and Vrta Ridge from Mojstrana (conditions 13.12.2015)
Morning -8°C, icy and snowy road, two double signs for driving ban or road closure and already parked cars at Peričnik, some are deterred from driving to Vrata and planned goals from there, … well - then Vrta Ridge turns out as a nice "reserve trip".
For warming up the path to Vrtaška planina is quite steep, only from the cargo cableway (for timber extraction) onwards to the shepherd hut on the planina it levels. The path at this time sunny, dry and snow-free to the saddle below Vrtaški vrh, further towards the Ridge among dwarf pines and under the summit ridge some 10 cm snow, sometimes dry, locally - where sun hits it also hard, so recommend at least "those small" crampons. On summit light but cold wind, temperature around zero (no thaw), in clear weather wonderful views, … at this time and current conditions really recommend this relatively easy trip (access) to this friendly two-thousander.
If you go back from Vrtaški vrh along the ridge path towards Vrtaška planina, some trampled tracks of predecessors in snow below Vrtaški vrh are misleading and lead into belt of dense dwarf pines, need to keep more left towards the logging area and brush piles, otherwise this path in good weather and visibility is certainly easier to follow uphill (junction - cairn by marked path...pic 26).
