Description of mountain:
Ojstrica (2350 m) rightly bears its name – its sharply pointed, almost perfect pyramidal silhouette is one of the most recognizable symbols of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. This mountain giant proudly watches over three beautiful areas: Korošica, the Logar Valley and Robanov kot. While its vertical and dark north face presents a serious challenge for top alpinists, the southern slopes offer fairly safe yet still appropriately steep and varied routes for experienced hikers.
When we reach the summit, where a registration box and traditional stamp await, the effort is instantly rewarded. An unforgettable mountain panorama unfolds before us: the neighbouring Planjava and Lučka Brana appear within reach, and on a clear day the view sweeps across the entire Kamnik-Savinja Alps ridge and extends to the outlines of the distant Julian Alps.
