Haupmerscharte

Description:
Haupmerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2527 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.5 km east of peak Haupmerkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Staudleralm, located 2.0km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte. 4 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Landeggkees, 5 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Sonnblickkees. West of the saddle is the valley Tauerntal.
