Haupmerkopf is 2625 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.0 km west of peak Glockenkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Staudleralm, located 1.9km south. And bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte is also close by. 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Landeggkees, 5 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Sonnblickkees.
