Description:
Westliche Moserkarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2470 meters and is part of the Karwendel Mountains. The saddle is located 0.5 km east of peak Rauhkarlspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Falkenhütte, located 3km east. Closer is bivouac Birkkarhüttl, which is located 2km to the west-northwest. North-northeast of the saddle is the valley Johannestal. The saddle is located on the ridge Hinterautal-Vomper-Kette.
