Elschberg

Description:
Elschberg is 2664 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km west-southwest of peak Fuscherkarkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Glocknerbiwak. 4 km south-southeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.3 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Pasterze, 1.3 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Südliches Bockkarkees. Northeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
