Saukopf

Description:
Saukopf is 2749 meter high peak in the Schober Group. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast of peak Gridenkarköpfe. The nearest mountain hut is Salmhütte, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Gernot-Röhr-Biwak. 4 km north of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 5 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Hofmannskees, 6 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Pasterze. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Gössnitztal.
