Schwertkopf is 3099 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km east-southeast of peak Kampl. The nearest mountain hut is Salmhütte, located 1.6km southwest. And Information Bricciuskapelle is also close by. 2 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 3 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Hofmannskees, 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Ködnitzkees. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Ködnitztal.
