Description:
Kristallenscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2961 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.7 km south-southeast of peak Blaue Köpfe. The nearest mountain hut is Stüdlhütte, located 1.6km west. And bivouac Glocknerbiwak is also close by. 4 km east-northeast of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 1.6 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Ködnitzkees, 2 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hofmannskees. The saddle is located above the valley Ködnitztal.
