Description:
Fanotkogel is 2905 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km north-northeast from the center of Glor-Berg and 6 km north-northeast from the center of Großdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Stüdlhütte, located 0.3km north-northwest. And bivouac Figerschupfe is also close by. 5 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.7 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Ködnitzkees, 2 km north from the summit there is also glacier Teischnitzkees.
