Oberes Beil is 2755 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.5 km southwest of peak Kreuzwandspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Stüdlhütte, located 2km east. A little further is bivouac Figerschupfe. 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Ködnitzkees, 3 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Teischnitzkees.
