The nearest mountain hut is Stüdlhütte, located 2km east-southeast. bivouac Glocknerbiwak is a bit further away. 7 km east of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.7 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Fruschnitzkees, 2.0 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Teischnitzkees.
