Gamsspitze is 3157 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km west-southwest of peak Gramul. The nearest mountain hut is Stüdlhütte, located 2km southeast. bivouac Glocknerbiwak is a bit further away. 7 km east of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.2 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Fruschnitzkees, 1.5 km east from the summit there is also glacier Teischnitzkees. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Dorfer Tal.
