Description:
Spitz is 2629 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.0 km north of peak Zollspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kalser Tauernhaus, located 2km west. A little further is bivouac Glocknerbiwak. 1.7 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Fruschnitzkees, 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Laperwitzkees.
