Description:
Freiwandspitze is 2919 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Glor-Berg and 5 km northeast from the center of Großdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Lucknerhütte, located 1.0km east-southeast. bivouac Figerschupfe is also relatively close. 6 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 3 km north from the summit there is glacier Teischnitzkees, 3 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Ködnitzkees.
