Glatzberg is 2627 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km southeast of peak Blaue Köpfe. The nearest mountain hut is Salmhütte, located 0.7km north. And bivouac Rübezahlhütte is also close by. 4 km northeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 3 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Hofmannskees, 3 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Ködnitzkees.
