Winterkogel

Description:
Winterkogel is 2670 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest from the center of Enzingerboden and 11 km east-northeast from the center of Außergschlöß. The nearest mountain hut is St. Pöltner Hütte, located 8km west. A bit closer is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte, which is located 4km to the southwest. 3 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Landeggkees, 3 km south from the summit there is also glacier Sonnblickkees. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Dorfer Tal.
