Sprengkogel is 2204 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km south-southeast from the center of Enzingerboden and 13 km east-northeast of Außergschlöß and 1.9 km west of peak Sedlgratköpfl. The nearest mountain hut is Fürthermoaralm/Ebmatten, located 7km east-northeast. A bit closer is Wurf Grundalm, which is located 3km to the north-northeast. 3 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Unteres Rifflkees, 3 km east from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzkarlkees. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Dorfer Tal.
