On Friday three graceful girls went to Bavški Grintavec, more like cutting fog. But somehow I can't get past this. At the top someone ate canned fish, threw away the lid and goodbye. Much lower someone else went to great lengths to hide his Frutek bottle and Snickers wrapper under stones. It really hurts.
Proud owners of the lost items can pick them up at Maribor communal services.

Saturday was perfect for it (clear all day), so I headed from Podutik via Toško Čelo and Topol to Grmada, didn't meet a soul up to its top, then to Tošč from there via Veliki Babnik to Osovnik, where there were already hikers for a bus, descent to the valley, at Legastja then up the hill to Sv. Jakob and via Katarina back home. It added up to 40 km and over 1800 positive elevation meters. Weather super for me, except on descent from Grmada to Gont my fingers got a bit cold... On Osovnik and Jakob ideal for martinčkanje, wind started only on Katarina.

darinka4, in picture 3 it's the trembling bolete, if I'm not mistaken. There are quite a few violet inkcaps around here, but I always leave them alone.

Kleine Markierung means small marking, not that there are few of them .

I'm very satisfied with Hyper from La Sportiva myself, have them for over a year, sister bought them last month too. Before I had Mammut Redburn and think I found good replacement.

For me it worked to enroll in a sports climbing course. That spring all my fear was gone. I also had the problem that after a severe childhood illness I lost my working balance center, it started functioning after finishing studies, but in between years and years of exercises.

On the saddle below Lovrenc, where the mountain signs are, a couple of meters from the bench ahead is the sign for the path under Storžič (green sign on a post), there you should go left into the bushes. From Povelj past the mill wheels is to me the nicest path to Lovrenc.
The mill wheels are not at Milka's spring, they are lower down, but you can go up the gully a bit higher.

But someone above has already warned about logging and possible road closures. Maybe it's a bit worse from Medvodje onwards, but usually you can reach the parking lot with a regular car.

I put on something then that I don't mind ruining. For Saturday's Begunjščica my footwear and company weren't suitable for scree, so I went around.
That scree under Stol is also very nice to me. Well, overall I'm hooked on scree slopes, I'm able to go up somewhere multiple times just to fly down. For starters those under Vrtača suffice for me (I like pushing to Zelenjak and Palec, just spice up the trip a bit).

From Begunjščica it also goes well. That one from Špik didn't impress me at all.

I did exactly that variant last year as you mention. Extremely nice tour for me, just the descent from Mlinarsko sedlo dragged on quite a bit at the end. I completely agree with what the previous poster wrote.

kotnik, at me they don't last another season, but now besides La Sportiva (I have ultra raptor model, which is a bit "reinforced" in front, two pairs) I got Panther from Dynafit, which has Vibram sole, after about a month of use very satisfied.
Adidas terrex model doesn't suit me, and honestly that rubber wasn't to my liking (Continental), with GTX on sneakers it's like that they all get soaked. So I have all hiking sneakers without GTX.

My altimeter (not quite 100%) yesterday definitely showed a couple meters over 2300 .

Bites from more "friendly" breeds are more frequent only because there are more of those dogs due to popularity, if we looked only percentage-wise, it would be different.
